Product Info
Designed with your comfort in
mind, dearjohnnies can be worn during labor, surgery,
or outpatient treatment; in the days following your
recovery and at home during the weeks to follow.
Hospital staff will appreciate that you're still wearing
a hospital gown, and you'll appreciate the soft fabric
and loose fitting design as your body heals.
What's
better is that you will be wearing something that is
your own, fits well and that you can feel secure in. And
the fashion factor will do wonders to boost your
spirits!
We currently offer three collections:
Our Wellesley Collection of gowns, matching robes and swaddle
blankets features five prints in preppy, but traditional pinks,
greens and blues; Our Hanalei Collection features brighter
prints and our Gramercy Collection features three fashion
forward prints for those who prefer a less traditional look. We
suggest purchasing more than one gown - patients always tell us
they wish they had more!
Sizing:
Size S/M typically fits women who are size 2-8; size L/XL fits
size 10-16; and size Plus fits size 16-24. Expecting moms should
use their pre-pregnancy size as a guideline for sizing. The
guidelines above are just a "guide" and fit may vary depending
on a woman's body type. We always recommend going larger if
there's any doubt in a customer's mind about something being too
small. Our gowns have plenty of room for a comfortable fit, but
even a larger size will be a much better fit than the hospital
issued one-size-fits-all version.
Construction:
Gowns are made of whimsical 100% cotton prints, trimmed
with grosgrain ribbon. Our robes and swaddle blankets
are made of cozy, yet lightweight, 100% cotton flannel
and are trimmed with fabric from our Wellesley
Collection. Monogramming is available on every piece in
our collections.
Each gown has snap-down sleeves for ease of access for
medical attention and breast feeding for new moms-
and snaps that close down the back to keep you covered
from behind.
